The best in class records management application available to public safety and intelligence today. Based upon the proprietary Incident Module, PSR brings world-ckass functionality in managing reported offenses, property and evidence, narratives and interviews, motives and MO's, citations, related persons, businesses and other entites, vehicles, digital images and other binary attachments. Master indices and separate maintenance functions for names, vehicles, locations and weapons allow for intelligent relationship linking throughout the application and additional modules.
Bringing functionality that is not available anywhere else, the integrated crime mapping module gives an entirely new meaning to mission critical data, whether historic or current. When installed, any display on which a location is given expands to offer mapping functionality. Map content is interactively provided to the user. Users may instantly view trends in the area in question, plot similar crimes in the area or likely suspects based on MO. Users may interactively query a web-based crime map and produce meaningful pin-maps which may be used in conjunction with CompStat reports to more proactively plan public safety presence in the community.
A unique approach to Case Management in that this module integrates directly into the core PSR Incident module. Once integrated, new links appear and allow authorized investigators and supervisors access to additional case assignment, tracking, follow up, and clearance functions. With the Case Management module, the application also provides interactive access for prosecution. DA users may access the caseload, review cases submitted for prosecution, approve and decline submitted cases, and interact directly with investigators and their supervisors. Additional time management and tracking functions are provided. Expanded solvability calculations and worksheets assist investigators. Home page links are expanded to give calendar "tickler" functions to investigators.
Property Room and Physical Evidence management are often relegated to disparate or disconnected systems. With the PSR property room module, rich functionality is not only provided, but also integrated into the core RMS. Starting with reported offenses and stolen property, the system begins a history of information on articles. Recovered items are automatically made available to the property room manager. Both batch and transactional functions are provided for receipt, release, loan/return, status change, disposal, inventory and other functions. Barcode scanners are fully supported. Print options allow creation of barcode tags, chain of custody and specialized evidence handling. Barcode scanners may be utilized to track items, manage transactional processes, and perform inventory managemt. Support for both cradle-operated and interactive handheld devices expands the scope of functionality to support most any budget.
Feature-rich fleet management module gives the agency greater flexibility and control over the routine and preventative maintenance tasks associated with upkeep of the agency's motorized fleet. With the ability to assign and track maintenance tasks based on meter, days, number of uses and overrides, the agency is able to keep its fleet on the road, in reliable condition, for longer periods of time. Upkeep is reduced by tracking upcoming and due preventative maintenance. Additionally, the agency may see financial impact in terms of fleet liability insurance by being proactive in its management.
Any successful records management implementation is prefaced by agency control. From field-level requirements and defaults, to management of agency-specific code table data, the Indico cross-applications management section provide the ultimate in tailoring, configuration and oversight.
CJMS PRODUCT LINE
In this age of proactive policing, CJMS applications must be more information-aware, allowing operators to easily link facts that may not be apparently related.
The Indico product line goes beyond basic records-keeping and data mining. It provides intuitive, meaningful information by bringing together data from many non-classic sources, along with public safety reports.
Through modern, online transaction processing and an advanced web interface information becomes even more meaningful. Once information is submitted from any location (LAN, WAN, even Mobile), all authorized users may access it.
Built-in notifications allow users to flag and watch for data, even if the data being sought has never been stored in the database before (i.e. name, plate, article, location, etc.)
Optional integrated State and NCIC queries, embedded within the data entry and inquiry displays facilitate rapid background development.
"Agents need to be free to pursue investigations in ways that they haven't. There have been restraints that a reformed FBI needs to make sure we don't impose."
-John Ashcroft
